As builders, architects, and manufacturers, we know timber is energy efficient. Still, we must prove it to secure our place in the building industry’s net-zero energy future so we don’t get left behind.
The IMTA’s mission is to promote mass wood construction and sustainability, energy efficiency, low embodied energy, and carbon sequestration.
We Need Your Support!
Each testing site includes a framed cube and a mass timber cube, costing roughly $50,000 to build.
We aim to raise $100,000 to support testing in each of our locations – Colorado, Texas, and Tennessee. Every little bit helps.
